GeekBuying Is a Rogue Trader

Hey folks I bought the Tronsmart Quick Charge 2.0 5-Port USB Charger from the last deal and then was informed by staff that they couldn't send the item with the AU plug. I spoke to them saying I wanted a partial refund so I can buy the cable my self only reason I orded it was because it came with the AU plug. they said they would fix the problem by adding another AU cable. now I just got the item and all as they done was put a travel adapter in the package. which I do not like using!

Now not a big a problem but why lie and false advertise saying you can sell a product when clearly you have none in Stock and why say you would fix the problem and then don't.

I have bought other electronic items from vendors like fasttech and gearbest an not had a problem. Sure fasttech and gearbest have stuffed me around but they didn't straight out lie to me!

    Bad rouge trade indeed.
    I think you mean that the issue is they advertised a product including a power cord with and AU plug, but they ran out of stock and shipped a euro or us cable with an adaptor.
    You might be over reacting a little in calling them bastards etc.

  • How did you choose AU plug when you order? There was no option for AU plug on their website. I was wondering the same thing.

    • Nah don't worry about it mate. I spoke to them and they stuffed up!

        • Yea they said they would put an AU cable in the package and take out the other plug and keep it.

          I haven't spoken to them lately no point they won't do any thing. Like by the time I buy a plug it works out the same as some of the deals om eBay.

          Oh well just not a good first Transaction.
          Fasttech once told me of because I told them a power bank they sold me didn't have the right capacity and they said not thier problem lol. So I know these things happen..

    All that hate for an AU plug. Why can't we all just get along?

  • Unfortunately I still didnt receive my charger after 5 months and just opened the Paypal dispute.

    • Did you try contacting me at any time?

      • No but I tried to contact them via their web page and just received a standard reply.
