Will People Buy an Amazon Kindle Account?

Hi all, I am thinking to sell my Amazon kindle account which contains of 600+ ebooks mainly in the topics of passive income, home business, how to make money from home, how to set up a business, personal wealth & finance management etc. I do not need this account any more. However do you think will people buy a kindle account? What price do you think I should set? Is $100 start bidding price rational?

  • Interesting, I'd hardly thought of the concept of buying someones account before.

    • not new, but definitely against T&S for a lot of services. A lot of people would buy accounts from high-ranking MMORPG characters using real money.

      • Is it against T&S of Amazon?

  • +1

How many of the books in your account did you pay for? Often the books in the categories you listed are free. I doubt anyone would buy the account unless there are a number of quality books that have value.

    • Most of them are free when I got them but even they were free but now not any more.

      • Seems like a terrible purchase but maybe there's a sucker out there that wants convenience?

Think about it - would you buy it?

        1. Most of the books were free meaning they are probably not great quality.
        2. Who wants to buy 600 books at once? Especially business related books. There's only so much content - 600 books would be the same stuff a different way.
        3. What's better about these 600 books than any of the other free books that are popping up now that would convince me to spend on your kindle account?
        4. Is it the buyer risk if the account gets suspended?

I would MAYBE consider it if it had a bunch of fiction books that I really wanted to read and was discounted. But I know I'd never read 600 books so it'd have to be a couple of series - maybe max 30 books - and would be $20-50

        Maybe I'm wrong though.

        • Thanks for your opinion. Free eBook doesn't mean it is low quality though. They were offered free as a marketing strategy to push up the ranking as well as to collect the reader feedbacks. I think a book's quality is based on the reader's review. I took a quick count, they are now up to $2000 market value (which surprises me). Some of them are now selling over $30. I will listen to couple more. After all it is majority opinions that count? Perhaps I should save up the hassle of trying to sell it.

  • Amazon is notoriously difficult to game as far as their partner programs, you better hope they don't do the same thing for Kindle Accounts.

BTW - is that even a seperate account from a normal Amazon account which you buy books and toilet paper with?

    • haha, no I only use Amazon to buy ebooks and eBay for physical item.
