Can I get cheap free range eggs in Perth

Directly from the farmers? I used to hear about people going to farms and buying eggs directly but don't even know where to begin with the search

Hit up some farmers markets. Nearly every farmers market I've ever been to has at least one place selling farm fresh eggs.

Not all of the eggs sold in farmers markets are truly 'free range' in the sense most people understand it.
And the OP did say 'cheap'.
Not sure what their definition is of cheap.
Where in Perth and how many eggs are needed might also be useful info.

What do you call cheap? I pay $4 a dozen at Golden Choise fruit and vegetable shop in Subiaco. They used to be at the Subiaco markets. It would cost me lots in time and money to get them at a farm gate.

We go to a farm somewhere along Midland Road in Kalamunda, the cheapest is a tray for $5, the square tray, not sure how many, is it 6x6? But then it's a farm, not sure if its free range though.

    • We wanted eggs, not a tomato….

      … jks.

    • $5 a tray? That would be chooks shackled at the beak eggs! :)
