Perhaps someone can help me as I have a rather complicated setup. Have been longtime UnblockUS and US Netflix user.
ADSL2+ Modem from Optus is plugged into the line in the house in a concrete cellar so its WiFi is turned off as range is poor.
Via LAN 8 Port Switcher in Lounge kick arse Netgear WiFI router does most of house.
From LAN via EOP attic room has old Telstra Modem for separate WiFi net. I did try normal extenders but they confused SONOS system thinking everything was on different WiFi nets.
Previously have just done DNS setting changes on devices iPad & PS3/4 as previous houses Optus Cable WiFI Router could not change DNS settings.
So If I want to add static routes do I do this on Netgear router in Lounge? LAN switch? Optus Router in Celler where ADSL2+ comes in?
Do it on whatever device is doing your routing. And if you have two devices doing this for any reason (most likely a mistake but some folk do this inadvertently) then do it on the router closest to the modem.
