  Red Delicious apples are bad apples.

  Seriously, if you were walking down the street and you saw a restaurant called "Super Delicious Food!" would you stop there? Rhetorical question, the answer is "No". Because when you have to try and put how great you think you are in the name it screams that either:

  a) You're covering for how bad you are or
  b) You have self-confidence issues and are trying to convince yourself more than others

  Red Delicious apples suffer from both a and b. Pink Ladies on the other hand - they're neither Pink or Ladies - they don't care…they know they taste fantastic so they don't even need to try. A name is secondary to their fabulous taste, crunch and juice. But Red Delicious? Bland, dry, tough skin. Why bother?

  Red Delicious are Red, yes. But Delicious they are not. Save your 49c and stay away from these fruit frauds.
