Anyone may know where I may still able to get a new or like new Samsung Note 3 or 4 for a reasonable price?
Thinking about getting one for my granny. She dont use much features, only watching youtube, a few games and making calls. She just need a bigger screen.

What does she have now. If its a 4" screen, then maybe a 4.5" might be ok. As Cronut says the Note3/4 is a heavier phone and harder to handle, so it might not be suitable.
windows phone with the large tiles. Easiest to use if not too worried about limited app store. Its the only phone my parents know how to use after trying out iphones, androids and coming from candy bar phones. Its a nightmare when they call each other and both dont hang up when they finish talking (assuming power button hangs up because screen is off/multitask call screen and never work their way back again..) $30 credit gets eaten up in a single call.
Whatever you do, keep them on pre-paid else you would be up to huge bills.
hint: to make the android phone easier or "granny friendly" how about installing an iOS launcher - like iLauncher or the app "Themer"?
She is using a HTC one V now, so really nothing has to be fancy. As I said, she just want a bigger screen and possibly bigger letter possible to be read on screen. Windows phone is out of my sight as none in the family is using one, therefore no one will be able to answer any of her query. And she is only addicted to a few android games, especially mahjong. Therefore not need a window phone.
I was hoping the the Note 3 deal with DS before but couldn't get hold of one.
Weight shouldn't be matter as she has picked up my wife's Sony Ultra Z and said that was good, big and readable. However, my wife is not giving up on that even though it was just a second phone while she has a I6+ as here primary. ;-P
Get her a tablet instead. You can buy a 7" Lenovo tablet for $100 at Officeworks and that should be enough. Or spend a bit more and get a Samsung Tab A 8.0 which is miles better than 7" Lenovo.
Thanks for the advice. She already has a note 8.0, however she said it is too big to hold to talk and carry in her handbag. And she feels awkward holding anything larger than 6" and talk.

I got one for $307 new from dick smith in December 2015 for my mum who isn't the best in tech. She likes the phone and has learnt how to use it, only thing she hates is the phone is heavy to put in her handbag. Worse if you have a cover. But then again, her previous phone was a crappy 4" android so that was light.
Obviously I doubt you can find it at this price. Maybe consider the LG G4 from Kogan or wait for the eBay sales form Kogan where you should be able to get the note 4 around $500
