Goin to Vietnam (HCM), Do I need USD to pay for Stamping Fee, or VND for VOA

Its my first trip to Vietnam (HCM), ive made the first initial step by applying for a visitors visa to Vietnam. Do they have money machines to withdrawl money to pay for the stamping? or am I going to stuck? and should convert $50 USD prior to leaving?

    I always take exact USD, to minimise problems. Sorry I don't know of any other options, but there is a 'roving' official who helps people. He is near VOA counter. You would be amazed at how unprepared some people are. I have seen him organise photos. I am not sure what else he helps with, but my impression is that they bend over backwards to help people.

    Sydney international terminal has ANZ ATM to withdrawal different currency, including $US. Easy.
