Hi, I've been searching the web for a price on this Camera/lens kit however cant seem to find any around the $1k mark which is my budget.
Needs to be Australian retailer/Seller so I can get the full Australian warranty.

If you can wait for cash back offer from olympus stacked with eBay promo then you might be able to get close to 1k.
You'll be struggling. The 12-40 alone goes for between 700-900. The only time you'll get anywhere near 1k for both is maybe second hand. Maybe once the EM1 mkII comes out the original will drop in value enough…

Cheaper 12-40 is 700, e-m1 for $300 not a chance.
