Another annual / bi-annual sale. I guess the only bargains will be off already reduced lines i.e. marked price. Also good for getting shoes that never go on sale, but I think you can probably find better deals overseas online (but check the $US first!)

      • cool, thanks!

  • hmm…. looks like prices has been pushed up ahead of the sale. Just going by the kids shoe prices that is.

    • Not for the Nike Frees, still the same price. Those have always been around $60 and when they do go on sale or are shipped to some outlet stores, there are hardly any sizes left in some colours.
My toddler needs a new pair of Frees soon. This deal is good but i wonder if there will be better discounts on toddler Frees towards end of financial year..

20% isn't that much, doesn't say if it apply to sale items as well.

I'm reading the T&C as "20% to be taken off marked price." like if the tag says $x then you get 20% off that.

  • +1

It used to be 30%. Then 25%. Now 20%.

That's according to the OzBargain history.

    • What?! That sucks..

    • +1

It actually used to be 40% off when they had their family and friends day. I bought a pair of nike frees.

I don't think my local sell converse chucks, but at 20% off they are not a bad price for chucks (for reference, DFO normally sell them for $80 when they have their specials)

      • Omg i am just imagining toddler nike frees for 40% off.. i would stock up on every size!

        • Toddler Nike is so last year, this year it's all about toddler Bvlgari…

    • +1

Yeah, miss the 40% off days

  • new Kobe Tinkers no discount?

    • +1

Went to the Parramatta store today and was told only 10% max for the tinkers.

      • SMFH General Release in US but Limited Release here. Cheers Mate

  • Says in their app it excludes limited releases.

  • Got a basic pair of Nike sneakers for $63. Thanks for posting.

  • Just bought Nike's 2016 Free RN shoes for my toddler. Full price was $70 so thanks to the deal it's down to $56. Only black available as it just came out a few weeks ago. Was hoping to get the blue pair but hasnt been stocked at Footlocker yet so black is fine. Good sale price for them but i cant believe they went up in prices this year.. the old Free shoes were $60 max for toddler sizes.

Wouldn't they grow out of it so quickly?

      • +1

Yes on average they need 3-4 pairs a year but that is for the 1-2 year olds. Im not sure how much growth slows down as they get older. I want to invest in good quality shoes to aid in foot development, proper walking and growth. Barefoot is always best but they also need great shoes with lots of support and a light, soft sole to walk in. Things like kids Vans aren't ideal. They feel very heavy and the sole is too stiff.
Bobux is another brand that makes podiatry-approved shoes for kids. They are even more pricey, around $80 a pair.

Good to know. I will keep this in mind when it comes the time to have children.
