Pre-order at EB Games gets you a free Winston statue! :P
Unfortunately it also means they have a reason to deny your pricematch :(
So I might just go with their reasoning and pay the premium for lil' Winston although the ozbargainer in me would cancel the preorder and get it from target like our friend recommends.

good price for doom. I'm really enjoying overwatch for xbox one beta, but im really conflicted about the price of it. This isn't target's fault.
I agree. Overwatch feels and plays like Team Fortress 2 with more classes. The problem is TF2 is completely free and Overwatch doesn't really feel like it's pushing the boundaries of the genre for the asking price. It feels very "Free To Play".
additionally, blizzard haven't released the base game for ps4/xbox1, its the origins edition, which comes with unlockables for pc games.. its also $20US more than the base level game on pc.

Good deal for an AAA ps4 exclusive on launch day. Guy in front of me paid $99 I felt sorry for him!
But it's RRP! They have to sell at that price or they will go bankrupt and close their doors…for good! Ok I can't tell lies any more, EB have been pushing this story for years and it's not true. Not even a bit. They just do it to make max profits from every customer who doesn't ask for a price match or their absurd criteria isn't met.
And you didn't tap him on the shoulder and show him the catalogue/website that you were going to use? Could've saved the dude $30, poor form.
The Zelda Twilight Princess bundle is also a good price at $69, hasn't been that price since the Big W release.
