Is it just a scratch or is it a gouge/chunk out of the rim? Is it on the edge of the rim?
I scratched the silver rim on my previous car. Bought some matching metalic paint (~$5 for a small pot) at SCA and applied it with an artist brush. From a distance - not a problem. Up close - oh, has that been touched up?! Mrs altomic was satisfied with the work.
Mine was a scratchy gouge 4 or 5mm wide and agou 8 cms long.
