Any Disadvantage on Using Non-Genuine Ink for Printer?

So what are the disadvantages of using non-genuine ink for printers? since they're cheaper I'm thinking of buying it from inkstation.com.au cause it looks like a reputable site for non-genuine ink since ebay have dodgy quality inks.

  • There's the off chance the cartridge may not work.
Although I also purchase off ink station, their returns is quite strict.
But can confirm that the ink is pretty decent for price with shop a docket discount
Delivery is the quickest I've seen from an ink business. Sometimes even same day if you order early

Your wallet will be heavier after the purchase, possibly causing hip problems.

  • Guilt

  • Coloured ink is sometimes not quote the same with non genuine. Or so I've heard.

  • My generic brother toner keeps printing ink blots on my document. Annoying but I'll make do for the price.

  • I've bought generic Brother ink, and wasn't happy with the quality of printing, plus it also left big long splotches on the page - it happened twice, with two different toners, about halfway through the expected life of the toner, so in the end, I got rid of it and went genuine, and since then I've had none of those issues.

  • I have a suspicion the non genuine inks damaged the heads of my printer which was then fixed under warranty. Now I'm afraid to use it.

  • I work for Inkspot personally and I can honestly say that there are very little concerns you should have with non genuine inks.

Our company goes to great effort to ensure our chips are always upto date and the manufacturing is of the highest level.

I have never come across an issue where a non genuine has damaged or broken a printer, many of the warnings the printer gives you about not using genuine ink is because the printer manufacturer personally hasn't checked them off and doesn't know what you're putting into the machine, therefore they personally cannot give a guarantee.

The customer saves money, and the quality of printing is just as good.

I've also posted a deal for Inkspot branded ink with 10% off coupon code that can be found here : https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/247614 if you wanted to save even more!
