      I always buy the breeders choice cat litter 30L there (less than $16 per 30L is pretty good considering free shipping and the weight of these). Let the mail(wo)man bring it (if he/she actually delivers and not just puts a collection card in the letterbox)…

          Not always in my case and I live in country NSW without any nearby access to reasonably priced cat litter except coles where a 24L bag is $19

        I recommend back 2 nature bedding, even though it said for small animal but you can use it for cat as well. It is from the same manufacturing company with breeders choice, just different packaging. Also its $3 cheaper for 30L

          hmmmmm…I just received my 30L bags of Back 2 Nature Bedding & Litter and compared to Breeders Choice 30L bags it is much lighter-
          Back @ Nature = 7.5Kgs
          Breeders Choice = over 9.5Kgs (my bag is already opened and has been used a for a few days when weighed).
          Although they are 'sort of' the same, the Back 2 Nature pellets are larger and lighter = contain more air! :(
          Considering this it appears that the Breeders Choice Litter would be a better option even @ $3 more.
          Still - I am yet to test the Back 2 Nature, so I will see…

          Yeah? I didnt really notice tbe difference since i bought back 2 nature after finishing breeder's choice so couldnt compare the weight. But if like you said then breeder's choice maybe a better option. My bunny seems to prefer back 2 nature for its softer texture though. However i also just started to use it recently so the next purchase can be clear which one is better

          I just received my order and also noticed a weight difference. Both say 30L but Breeder's Choice contains hard pellets whereas Back 2 Nature is like pellets that have started to break down from moisture.

          My Back 2 Nature bag was 7.25kg and Breeder's Choice was 12kg!

    They've got the slowest shipping I've ever encountered for online pet food orders, my last order took a full 7 days to get from one side of Brisbane to the other, I had an order come from another place in Melbourne that only took 3 days

      I guess they gotta make money somehow, especially on those free shipping deals where the shipping should be almost more than the actual product… and use a delivery service that costs less than Australia Post for metro areas ("Fast"Way?) In country areas like mine it is still delivered by Australia Post though with their normal delivery schedule.

        I tried to place an order and got the 20% off but the "free freight" stayed at $4.50. Anybody know why the freight would not go to zero. I'm in an inner Sydney suburb.

          Not sure had this happen to me the first time I tried as well (and delivery was in the $30's). I waited like an hour or so and then it was all fine. Not sure what really happened or why - it just worked suddenly.

    i promised myself i wouldn't use petbarn again (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/231450?page=1#comment) but my fussy old cat has decided that she will only eat BFF these days and at around 60c a can plus with max's kitty litter ending up being about $14 a bag i just couldn't resist… let's just hope they don't screw it all up like last time.

        Yep, they sent me a 20kg bag dry dog food which was a month out of date. One email and they promptly sent out a new fresh bag. Dog liked the out of date stuff better. Great service for me so far.

    my kitty litter arrived today but i'm missing 110 tins of cat food. not sure if it is petbarn or the couriers fault but this is the 2nd time in a row i'm going to have to screw around until i can get someone to fix up my order. i should've just listened to my instincts and ignored this deal.
