I sometimes see Lenovo reps popping up in the forums so thought I should ask here…Lenovo are releasing the smaller Yoga 900s (its a 12.5inch screen and has digitizer pen support).
WHEN will the Lenovo Yoga 900s be available on the Australian Lenovo site (preferably the Gold 256Gb version with the m7 chipset)? And if anyone knows…what will the retail prices be?
The USA Lenovo site already has four versions (they went live on 25 April):
m5 chipset SILVER 128Gb $999US
m5 chipset GOLD 128Gb $999US
m7 chipset SILVER 256Gb $1199US
m7 chipset GOLD 256Gb $1199US
Of course - even if you have a mail redirection Lenovo do not allow international credit cards for orders…(any ideas?)
The Australia site has nothing listed and I have called Lenovo and was told nothing more than "probably July".
JBHIFI has already released an exclusive version of the 900s (as of 9 May) - a 256Gb SILVER version with the m5 chipset retailing at $1999.
Lenovo Australia customer support said the ones they will be listing will be different models than the JBHIFI one.
Anyone got some inside info?
You can use an assisted purchase service.
Some shipping forwarders such as shipito.com have this service as an option. Basically they can pay with US cards or go to a physical location if needed and do any purchase for you for a fee.
