Vodafone Prepaid Plan Closures (including Prepaid Cap, PAYG and 365 Days)

Your Prepaid plan is being phased out.

From 15 June 2016, we’re phasing out our Prepaid Cap, Pay As You Go, and 365 Day services. If you’re on one of these, don’t worry. You can stay on it for as long as you keep recharging, or you can switch to another Prepaid service.

  • Converting people to 28 days plans no doubt

    • One would suspect that they will launch a new maybe 6m option before the closure of the 365d

  • They have the new "Mymix" thingy but the cheapest option seems to be $55 for 90 days…thanks but no thanks Voda.

Plus the international rates on the PAYG are way better.

  • Must remember to churn old optus/ standby no. to 365 Days VF & never look back; to any of the crud increasingly filling the market tbh.

maybe we can get some $50 for $16 upcoming Phonebot¿, sweeten the pot.

    • I don't think the 365 days plan is available any longer for new connections, but I'm willing to be corrected.

      • Prepaid $50 365 day Starter Pack, displayed on site just fine for me (17/5): besides which isn't June. Or Optus may be pleased to retain service of longstanding no.±.

        • Sorry, I was talking about the 365 Days plan. The $50 starter pack you mention - is that for the whole year? Or is that for a 28-day plan?

The 365 day plan is being phased out, possibly no longer available for new connections.

        • @KaptnKaos: NP, it's per 1-year :P.

Prepaid 365 remains handy for 1 preexistent but unimportant sim of mine. (Phonebot dispatched alot of these.) Still need to confirm support able to transfer purchased credit to legacy AC., other wise those kits do go underutilised bit similar to optus':/.

  • Nearing the availability for new signups, now showing 22nd June on the VF website.
Just wondering if anyone has identified anything else with long expiry.
VF is also the only provider without a published closure date for GSM. For me my second SIM is a 365 VF, very useful for those of us on grey import dual SIM devices…
