I'm no expert on reverse cycle split aircons and hoping someone could help me out here.
The current ebay 20% sale has got me thinking of getting a split system reverse cycle aircon. I've got 2 bedrooms I would like them installed in, one is 12 sqm, the other is 9sqm. All walls are full brick. If going by each room, I would need a 2.5kW(c)/3.2kW(h) per room. Can I just get a 5kW one and run it to both aircons? Does that mean I need to drill holes in the walls for the piping? Also, from previous comments on other posts, it seems that the MHI ones are good? Any models to recommend? I would like something that has a good COP. Noise wise it doesn't bother me because i like having white noise as it helps me sleep.
Regarding installation, I heard you need to have a license installer because of the refrigerant? Can someone recommend a good installer? PM me if you don't want to post it.
