Hoping to spend 3 weeks in one spot in Ireland and then travel a bit of Europe. (2 adults and 2 young kids)
Any thoughts on where would be a good place to buy car (could we fly into Amsterdam and buy car/campervan/caravan there and drive over to Ireland? … Or fly into Athens and do the purchase there?)
Total trip about 2 months
Anyone do anything like this before?
Is there a good hire company Etc.

Do you have relatives anywhere in the EU? I think the paperwork/insurance etc. is going to be the biggest hassle. If you had a local willing to do it all in their name while you cover the expenses it would be much easier.
