Cashrewards Now Requires an Uploaded Receipt/Invoice for Cashback Inquiries

Noticed that there were some transactions that haven't tracked after the three-month waiting period. Was about to send an inquiry (which I've done a couple of times before, with success) but the form now requires an uploaded invoice or receipt.

What's the purpose of the website tracking then if I have to upload a receipt from more than three months ago? Oh, well. You really have to work hard for free money now.

Just an FYI and not a rant.

    Thanks for sharing your experience.

  • Yes they have finally acknowledged that DelieveryHero transactions weren't tracked!

In the email it talks about transparency; perhaps it time they tell us how their tracking system works and why it doesn't have a high level of accuracy.

Yeah well they might be shooting themselves in the foot if they make it difficult. Most their offers already are not worth the inconvenience or really a bargain. They do have some occasional great deals though

  • I am with you OP, I have also just recently followed up with CR re a transaction of over 3 months ago, used the online form and uploaded my Order information. Got a response the following day confirming the CR and released for payment. Hope it works out speedily for you too.

This is where I have a big issue!

They claim they don't get paid if the transaction is not 'tracked', how can they release the money after seeing evidence? Surely if the transaction is 'missing' then you just miss out? Looks like they can see the transaction is there but are too lazy to fix up the problem.

      • Sorry I wasn't in my earlier comment. Here's to clarify, my transaction was tracked and had been showing on my history with an estimated payment date being 90 days post the transaction. About a week after the 'due date' the payment wasn't released and that was when I followed up and did an online form. Then the payment got sorted within a day of my inquiry.

Thanks for that clarification, its even worst when people land in the situation like yours.

I don't mind delayed payments, but they should be informing instead of waiting for us to take action.

  • I had an item that was tracked but had not been approved for 6 months since purchase, made a claim and it was paid within 24 hours so can recommend their customer service. If uploading an invoice means quicker response times then I'm all for it.

  • I have transactions that date back to Jan and Feb, which have been tracked but no "due date" in sight…I've contacted them, but if it takes this long to get things going, it's bordering on not worth the effort.

  • Seems to be a painful process. I've tried twice to submit a query regarding untracked purchases. Once completing the form apparently I should receive an email within a few minutes., have never seen anything. Submitted a general enquiry instead and got a confirmation for that, so hopefully that gets me somewhere.

  • CR is trying to hold your money as long as possible now.My eBay transactions around 17th May have not been approved yet, changed to no estimated time.It was not like this before.

Have you guys got eBay transactions in May approved? It already passed their usuall 55 days period.

    • send them an inquiry. my purchase from 22 May has been paid
