Please don't use Bunnings as a hire shop. You've pretty much said that you need a pressure washer for one occasion and will want to return it for being under powered. The likelihood of Bunnings returning it is not great as it is a hygiene issue once water has passed through a product and can not be resold and ultimately prices get driven up for everyone else.

    • OP DID NOT say they need it for one occasion. They are asking if bunnings will offer a full refund if they are not satisfied by the power of the pressure cleaner

Apologize if I was not clear with ny post. I will need it for occasional use 3~4times a year not just once use so I need a good quality washer.

    • My apologies to the OP for misreading the post and its intent. As for the question : with your $200 budget in mind you will probably find that all the pressure washers in that price range at Bunnings will be underpowered for your needs. 2000-3000 psi is usually the recommendation for driveways etc. The closest pressure washer to suit your budget is the Gerni 1.4kW. It has a psi of 1740 and comes with a patio cleaner that some customers love and others hate.

  • Ask a sales assistant. If they say yes it will do the job, but it doesn't, you have a strong case for a return.

    • You better go to Masters instead as their staff will 100% say it should do the job, staff there has no knowledge for their product.

  • I use a high pressure cleaner for cleaning the patio and concrete areas (~80m²). If you are intending to clean large areas of stone/paving, you will probably need to use a "dirt blaster" extension or equivalent. I recently bought a new Karcher after my old one died, and bought a set from Bunnings ($199) which came with a "patio cleaner", but I found it useless; it does not have enough pressure, and is very difficult to move around. So I'm continuing to use the "dirt blaster". Whether a more expensive appliance will make a difference (within your budget), I'm not sure; the electrical ones which are up to about $400 have only about 25% more PSI than the base models of ~$120. I think you would have to buy a petrol powered one before you're talking about real pressure.
