Best quality photo prints?

Hi everyone, I'd like to get photos printed to stick on my wall as a collage type thing. I would like to find somewhere online (as all the general photo printing stores (Big W, Officeworks [where I work], K-Mart etc) all use fairly thin photo paper.

I would like something fairly rigid (300gsm or thereabouts) as previously I have found that the photos I've had printed at my work will eventually start to warp or bend when stuck to the wall.

Any ideas?

  • Maybe head into one of those Kodak kiosks and get them printed on a thicker card? Prepare to pay extra though.

  • +1

I usually order photo prints online from Nushots. They are a pro lab so quality is great. They don't oversaturate them like they do at Big W, Kodak Kiosks etc. There is usually an offer for 50 prints free when you sign up.

I use Parabo for prints on thick card. They are printed in Asia but they post Fedex so they arrive quickly. A bit more expensive but they look great, especially on a wall collage like you are talking about.

I am not sure if I can post a referral code here, but if you want to use it enter KICXBS for $5 off your first Parabo order.

    • Thanks! That's just what I was looking for :-)

  • I think what you need is printing on fine art paper something like this
    http://www.ilford.com/products/photo-inkjet/galerie-prestige

or my favourite: hahnemuehle photo rag
    http://www.hahnemuehle.com/en/digital-fineart/digital-finear…

photolabs like Harvey normal prints on wet chemistry paper.
You need to look for a place that does fine art printing.
