Any Kdrama / Asian drama fans out there?
What are you currently watching?
Any favourites / recommendations?
Any tips you can share regarding the best way to watch?

I'm a relative newbie myself - I happened to watch "My Love Eun-Dong" on Netflix and was hooked from there. Seen a few others but my all time favourites are Playful Kiss & Good Morning Call, and I'm also currently toggling between D-Day and Goong on Viki.

Currently using Viki to get my fix, but find it a little annoying that a lot of content is region blocked. Also the ads can be a little obtrusive but I can't complain for a free service. Any other tips on getting your Kdrama fix?

    Just search on google - [drama name] eng sub, there should be a few fansubs around.
    I just finished watching descendants of the sun which is super popular with ratings up to 40% I think.

      Yeah DOTS seems to be very popular but it's region blocked on viki for me…

    Royal Gmabler is currently airing and is very good.
    Signal, Six flying dragons are also worth watching as well.

    Grab the "DramaFever" app on your phone/tablet, there's heaps to explore! A lot of the series the first few episodes are free, the remainder require a subscription. It also supports Chromecast too.

    Just finished watching Neighbourhood Hero, it was OK. If you like movies instead I can suggest a few.

      Dramafever looks interesting. Just wondering - if you do the premium subscription, do you still get region blocked? For example, can you watch "Descendants of the Sun"? That's a popular one that says "Not available in your region" on Viki.

    I have a kodi setup as my home media player. I have only just recently discovered kodi addons that prove to be quite useful. I haven't tried yet, but I believe the popular kodi addons for Asian dramas are called dramago, drama24h and dramanice.

    By the way I found an android app called "#Dramania" which is pretty good. It seems to have a big range and doesn't seem to be region blocked. And best feature - allows downloading for offline viewing. Quality isn't HD or anything but still acceptable, and has ENG subs. Only seems to show 1 15-20 second ad when you start watching, and no ads after that.

    Oh and the legality is a bit suspect… :D

    I am a kdrama lover. Myasiantv.se and dramanice.eu are my two fave Website.
    ATM i watch flower in prison and beautiful gong shim. I like korean reality TV shows e.g. infinity challange, running Man, i live alone etc.
    If you wanna watch kbsworld, they have live tv on YouTube, all with subtitle. Hope this help

    DOTS was the first drama i watched after a long haitus from kdramas.
    Im not really into the lovey-dovey dramas, i highly recommend Misaeng and Good Doctor.
    Both are highly rated and have a pretty good storyline.
