    General use. No gaming.

  • display is meh.

you'd be better off buying a 2nd hand high end laptop from ebay for the same price

Go to the dell outlet and buy a Latitude 14 (the 7000 series is preferable)

    • Agreed, unless you're specifically going for a Lenovo, the Dell is better for the price

  • thanks guys. This one? $ 1,029

    • Much better.

      • Thanks scrimshaw!

    • I still think that is highly overpriced considering it is a refurb with minor cosmetic wear, i5 and no dedicated graphics card. Wouldn't expect it to be >$1k. Fair enough it has a SSD but they are dirt cheap now anyhow.

      • The premium was in the full Hd gorilla Glass touchscreen. That's the only reason why it was expensive.

If it didn't have the touch display it'd be around 250 cheaper.

        • Ah, missed that. Thx

  • All gone already? I just turned my back to read a couple of reviews!

First come first serve. You were too slow!!!

Every man and his dog on Ozbargain / WP / Reddit now knows about the Dell outlet, so you gotta be fast on your trigger finger to make the purchase.

Remember, you can always talk to the dell rep to get them to 'hold' the item for you. They will hold at most 5-6 hours or a full day. So if you're smart, talk to the rep first, say you wish to buy and you need a few hours to consider… they'll reserve for you and you can take your time to read reviews and decide whether you want to buy or not.

  • Thanks! Will be quicker next time!

Don't worry, they keep posting "new" laptops every day. I just bought a second one from there 2 weeks ago. The Dell rep will hold the laptop for 24 hours from the moment they confirm that they have it in stock.
