May be a stupid question but how do you claim your points? On the amex site, it says they have transferred the points to my velocity account? Where do I go from there?

Thought you just add it in online account settings?
BTW: just claimed my free flight, had to call, no online option.
Flights are based on available basic Reward flights, best check availability of those using VirginAusralia account, saves you the hassle of having to do that over the phone back n forth.
Also cant use points to upgrade to business or pre-select seat prior to online checking with those flights.
But it's free. Also started using the 100,000 points I got for signing up. Great value.
you probably need to advise them of your velocity points account number. Contact them via secure messaging and they can probably set it up for you.
