    We've got 2 small dogs, but get the 11-22kg ones, and cut in half. Their pricing, marketing, is crap.

    Forgot the capstar, though! Haven't bought it for a couple of years.

  Never used sentinel myself as my vet said I don't need heartworm protection until pup is 6mo.
  Plenty of bad reviews on product review.
  Anyone with a better first hand experience?

    Did you pup get heartworm injection? If not then you need heartworm protection..

      Unsure
      I know he's had all his shots.
      Vet said he's good for heartworm until six months and then he'll get his injection
      Using front line for the rest

      Thought I could use sentinel from 6 months.
      But after reading the reviews not sure I should buy

        hmm..not sure on the heartworm bit. I am fairly certain puppies get heartworm protection prior to 6 months as well.

        My dog uses sentinel spectrum as her regular flea/worm/heartworm control. No problems and she hasn't had fleas. The heartworm injection is a big needle. She had the injection once but reacted badly to it so I've stuck with the chews instead.
