Printer Brother HL-1110 Two-Sided Printing

Dear ozbargainers,

I own a Brother HL-1110 printer. However, when I print I cannot select the two sided printing(there is an option there however unselectable). I am using a macbook fyi.

Any advice on how to print two sided?

    doing manually for this model.

    I have used many Brother printers and they normally put a D in their model number to identify a auto duplex printer, e.g, MFC-J870DW - where D is auto duplex and W is for wireless capability.

    It is a manual process; print the odd pages, then print the even pages on the other side.

    I have this printer. you have to do it nanually, cheap printers are not automatically duplex. Odd then even pages, as the above poster said.

    I found this to be a great laser printer for uni; very quick, reliable and amazing value, despite manual duplex. Not sure what all the poor reviews are about.
