Don't buy one, just use steel wool and bleach. Failing bleach, use something acidic. The lower the Ph the better.

    • Whaaaaat? I wouldn't do this, I don't have a sound reason why other than it sounds nuts to me. I would recommend a microfibre cloth. Clean the screen when it is cold and for any marks that won't come off, use half distilled water half vinegar, dip the microfibre cloth into the solution and gently clean the screen.

Well I do have a sound reason. Scientific tests at the Dolby institute have proven time and time again, that the best way to clean a television is with steel wool and bleach. Using something acidic (like nitric acid if you have it lying around) is the best option, but most people don't have it. So bleach works. The negative ions in steel wool return the lustre that the gamma rays caused by continual use of an LED/LCD screen destroy. You ever wondered why you TV doesn't look as good now as when you bought it? Gamma rays baby. The only way to get the film they create off the surface of your TV is aggressive scrubbing with steel wool. Don't listen to robbyjones OP. You are nuts using vinegar on a TV, and those Harvey Norman 'microfibre' clothes do way more damage than good.

    • Please don't do this OP. If you don't believe me see here

You'd be mad to follow thorton82's advice, slightly damp microfibre cloth will do the trick.

I think he negged you lol. Slightly damp microfibre cloth with water is the best idea imho. Some screen cleaners can actually cause the coatings on some TV's to come off.

      • Surely these companies who make the cleaners would stop making them if they damage the tvs.

        • Sorry mate, but these jokers are trying to pull the wool over your eyes.

        • @thorton82:

Yes they got nothing else better to do.

  • Come on guys, have a laugh.

    • i just destroyed my 32 inch tv =(
      Thanks
