Kia Cerato MY16 Run-out $18,000

I talked the dealer down to $18,000 for auto with parking sensors. But I had the feeling he would have gone down further. And now I can't shake that feeling. Do you think $18,000 is a good price?
What strategy would you use to talk him down further?

Make sure he has your contact details…and walk out.

do what you have to do to get the best price 😃

  • 2016 Cerato Auto can be had for $17k… see here

If you have a trade in then you need to look at change over price and not the straight buy price.
    Great car BTW.

Looks like 20k, including 1k eftpos card is the advertised price, so 18k seems like a decent deal (except it's the run-out model).

Phone up another dealer (say 50km away from the 1st dealer). Tell him the price price you've received is $17k and ask whether he can beat it.

Keep phoning other dealers (either increasing/decreasing your offer) until you're happy.

    • What sort of price do car brokers charge? Can they really save you thousands off base models? I've always been skeptical about them

    • Agreed John is a legend.
