Hungry Jack's Sauce Now Cost Extra $0.30. (Sellouts LOL)

Lol now I know its only 30 cents but I went to HJ today with 6 bucks to get the Whopper Junior meal and I always get the spicy sauce with it but they said it cost 30 cents extra. I told them I thought that it was free (Like it always has been) but they said no it cost 30 cents now. Since I only had like 6 bucks I just said no and walked out.

Why are they charging for the sauce, trying to copy Maccas and KFC with that extra 40-50 cents for little sauce. One of the big reasons I go there is because so I can get some free sauce with my meals.

Haha I just wanna know what other people think about this.
I know I'm been cheap about this but I just wanna know if someone else has experienced this.

    I believe it could be franchisee specific. I've experienced the same at chadstone food court store but not at others. IMO its really pathetic to charge extra for little sauce and piss a customer off.

      Yea it might be. I might try other stores to see if they do it. But i think its everywhere now. Its just a rip off for a little sauce.

      If you guys sell the Spicy sauce in a 150ml bottle, (for example like Nandos Peri peri) am sure you will have a good market for it.
      I love the spicy sauce…always used to get it free with my meal..but yeah they have been asking me 30c for it now…even after I order. Human psychology will often come to play here, and many will simply skip the sauce for not being able to justify 30c for something that was free all this while. :|

    Honey mustard has been DISCONTINUED and once store stock is gone, it's gone!
