In-Ear phones or Headphones for Gym (Wireless)

Hi everyone,

I have recently come to the conclusion that wired earphones are terrible for me personally in the gym. Im looking at buying a wireless pair of either headphones or in-ears and was searching for some suggestion. Price really wouldn't want to exceed $200 and quality is much preferred over brand name.

Cheers

  • I currently use a Jabra Clipper, which is just a Bluetooth receiver that you plug any 3.5mm wired headphones into. I attach a pair of my UE Metro Fi 170 canalphones with the bulk of the cable coiled up in a twisted loop, then the ends hooked over the tops of my ears. I've had both of these items for quite a few years actually, but both of them still perform really well, I get very nice sound and minimal noise from the cable rubbing on clothes etc. It's a compact arrangement and it works well for me.

  • What u want is a Bluetooth audio receiver. They are about $20. Use whatever headphones you want and wrap the cables around your head. Be worry of too long cables because it may take 6 complete wraps around head. Use the receiver as a clip to keep the cabled from unwrapping. WINNING!

  • I picked up a pair of audio66 Bluetooth headphones from Amazon for about 40aud after watching a video of this guy running with sweat down his face. Like legit exercising. Not try hards sport stars wearing beats.

When I tried them at home I was originally disappointed. They felt flimsy and the audio quality was like that of $10-20 in ear buds. Then something amazing happened. I took them to the gym

The ear pads that I thought were papery and crap are actually amazing - the only headphones I've used NEVER to make my head feel hot. And the sweat wipes off A OK.

Full Bluetooth. No cables. Battery literally lasts months. I have had these almost 4 months and I have charged them ONCE. I gym 3 times a week for about an hour.

Sound is still so-so. But when going ham at the gym I realised I don't care

  • I adore my Backbeat Fit. Plus it comes with a one year replacement warranty.

  • I bought a pair from Qantas ff store as I had a few extra points laying around [Sony Nfc ones] (https://store.qantas.com/Mobile/Catalogue/MobileProductDetaiā€¦)
On sale too at the moment. There are some negative reviews but I have found them to be great

bought these badboys in black for 95 USD plus shipping. audio quality is really good. If youre willing to splurge, the new jaybird freedoms are out for 199USD, but not worth it imho.
