17'' laptop under 1500

Hi,

I am looking for a new laptop with the following features:
- 17'' screen
- weight less than 3.5kg
- Price under 1500 (the closer to 1000 the better)
- australian warranty
- ideally Intel Core i3 or better
- 2gb or more ram

The laptop doesnt need to play games, hdmi will be a good optional extra.

The ones I have seen :

• Dell studio 17 for 1200(i3 , 4gb ram, internal graphics) and
• Asus K72JR-TY028X also for 1200 from CPL(Intel i5 430M, 1G 5470M , 4GB Ram, 17.3”HD LED).

Any suggestions?
