This email was sent to me at 9.23 PM last night. I saw this morning and I was fuming.

Unfortunately for me I pulled the trigger on a $250 purchase without using any voucher… or cashback. Going to slap myself now.

You might. So don't buy anything yet.

  • Nothing in my inbox. I never get any targeted offers from eBay these days.

    • +2

I have never received a targeted offer since creating my eBay account in 2003.

    • Perhaps you haven't sold anything in the last few months. I notice that when stopped using ebay for a year, they never did anything to want me back. Once I started listing some stuff and sold over $500 worth of goods, promos appeared.

      • That's probably it as I haven't sold on eBay for 2+ years.

  • Not any sellers

Shop the latest products from the big brand retailers

Nope, tried it with Dream-Seller, a seller based in South Korea on a X-star monitor. It took 50 dollars off.

But I already own one (sad face)

Get in touch with the seller, ask for the earlier purchase to be cancelled, and re-buy with the discount.

        • huh. Never though of that. messaged the seller just now.

I made two ebay accounts. one I use everyday and one that sits dormant till I receive an email along the lines of 'hey, we haven't see you on ebay lately… here is 15% or 20% off.'

  • I tried to buy $975 worth of stuff, but the discount is only $50

    Anyone has this problem too?

    • Copy and paste the fine print here

      • what is the max discount in dollar amount?

        • *Up to $200. Min spend $75. Ends 29 June.

does your code start with a 'V8'

if it does not you probably are using some other kind of promotion

        • @scrimshaw:

one with VU & the other is VW

        • @mma:

You got two vouchers? Lucky you. They have will have different rules. Try to apply a different voucher and see.

  • i only gotten 10%, max $100. 20% discount on anything is awesome!

  • I didn't get one, but my wife (who rarely gets anything) got one for 20% - suspect they are targeting those who don't spend much…..

  • Not sure if this is the same, I received 20% off from Paypal to be used on eBay expiring 29 June and the voucher code is 16 characters. It is also min spend of $75 up to $200. It can use it on any sellers including overseas. Much better than those local stores that jackup their prices.

    • It's the same. You must spend 75 at least. Best voucher or what?

    • Me too. I received the same Paypal email last night.

  • Can the voucher be used for second hand goods?

Anybody have a 20% off voucher they got from eBay they aren't going to use by June 29th.
I have a feeling these unique codes might not be linked to the account that received the email.
If someone Private Messages me a code, I'll let everyone know if codes can be shared for one time use only.

    • The voucher is linked to your eBay User ID. The transactions must be completed with the eBay User ID specified in the invitation email in order to redeem the voucher.

  • argh, wanted to use this to buy a Philips 40" 4K monitor but no store is listing the original (BDM4065UC) at a decent price. There is one private seller and one store asking for $1301.

Its a pity people are reporting issues with the 2nd generation Philips, the 43"

  • Paypal you eviiil biatch, i got my stuff in at 23.59 and the coupon expired.
