Are we meant to be outraged by this? The stuff comes from the UK, they would be making a loss postage wise on every item they send even at $1.99.
They don't, the volume they pump out means they can get away with cheap rates and the subsidies

Still coming up as 0.99 for me.Royal Mail increased parcel and stamp prices earlier this year but Zavvi and their sister company The Hut shouldn't have been affected by it.
Delivery is still cheap but keep in mind you should be getting a 20% discount (VAT isn't levied on UK exports) and this is where the true cost of postage is being paid.
Nah vat isn't refunded for us afaik with zavvi?
agreed we still pay VAT from Australia, though I can see my post might have suggested we do get a discount. It's that 20% they're pocketing which partially funds the postage and gives them even more profit than selling to customers located in the UK.

I've got orders going back to 2013 with £0.99 postage which is about $2, I think you've just got currencies confused.
Nope, definite price increase for me! Ordered other steel boss before and they've always been 0.99… maybe it's just these that have been affected?
