I got lucky the other day while out shopping, & scored my partner a Mophie Juice Helium power case for his iPhone 5 for just $40 at the Gold Coast University Hospital Co-Op Bookshop. I had seen them online for ˜$80+ while I was looking for a possible birthday gift for him, so I grabbed it, but have found them considerably cheaper at a number of places online since (as is typical with bargain-hunting, dammit!).
The Mophie website shows there's a compatible car dock, part # 2306_DOCK-IP5-CAR, which is an integrated windscreen mount, charger & docking station, allowing use of the phone for GPS, music, etc. while charging both the phone & battery pack, all in one convenient product. Sounds awesome! But my limited budget leaves me unable to afford the $60+ pricetag, which is the cheapest I've managed to find them. Anyone seen them at a better price, please? I'd love to hear where.
