3 Free Trading Cards Per Day @ Steam

680

It is back!
Get 3 free trading cards for viewing games in your discovery queue, this was back when the winter sale was on, but now it is back in the Summer sale!
You could easily make $1 or $2 in a few days, or if you are lucky enough you could receive a foil trading card which is worth tons more than a normal trading card.

Link provided directs you to the terms and conditions, but find the 'Go to queue' to begin if you have met all the terms and conditions.

YOU MUST BE LEVEL 5 ON STEAM IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THIS PROMOTION

EDIT:
Credits to bong, install Tampermonkey with a compatible browser and use this Script to speed through the process. Still watch it, because it cannot bypass the age verification itself.

Use this script to speed up the process of going through your queue for your 3 daily cards.

Nice, but some of the games in the queue might be an interesting game you want to buy or wishlist for later….but if you're just only after the free cards and nothing more then I can see the point of using this.

    That's good money under Turnbull!

Yep, need to collect to buy a house for my kids :)

  • forgive my ignorance, but what do the trading cards actually do? is it an epeen thing?

    • +3

You can craft them in to a badge. But yeah pretty much. It's all cosmetic. "Check out my stuff."

    • +3

If you collect a full set of trading cards you can craft them into a badge, which will give you XP that'll raise your Steam profile level, which is indeed e-peen.

If you've got you're satisfied with your current e-girth, though, you can sell them on the Community Market for a few cents each (Steam Sale cards are fetching around 10 cents at the moment), which goes into your Steam wallet and can add up to a free game or two by the end of the sale.

heres what you should do to make even more money on steam

        sneak into valves office

dress up like one of their employees

        act like you belong there

heck do some work to making it convinving

then soon enough they deposit some cash into your bank account

Hell within a few decades youll have thousands and even a pension!

  • I'd never done this so for anyone who wants to specific instructions:

Log in, go to http://store.steampowered.com/salefaq/ on the right side you'll see "Explore Your Discovery Queue" and beneath the paragraph of text you'll see a "Go to your Queue" link. Click it.

On the next page you'll be presented with a Queue of about 11 games. Cycle through the Queue by clicking the "Next in Queue" arrow on the right side under the game info.

When you're done, you will get your reward.

  • Thanks OP

Now my sales are stuck in the safety protection delay until 9 July because I didn't have Steamguard.

Even after I installed it, I can't get the safety delay off the listings!!

    • Try cancelling those listings, then sell the cards again - you'll get the Steam Guard notifications to confirm listing and should skip the hold.

    • This happened to a mate at work.

Unfortunately he has a Windows phone, so no joy :(
