Friends The Complete Season - DVD or Blu-Ray?

Hi

I am thinking of buying Friends box set. JB hifi is selling the DVD for $68 while bluray is $103.

Tempted to buy bluray since most of the review say that the quality is great, though it is roughly $40 more.

Dvds on the other hand include all the cut scenes, while the bluray is the TV version.

Has any one owned these? Which one is better in your opinion?

Thanks

No need for either, just turn on your tv anytime and it will be on :-)

Just joking, I don't know the answer.

    • lol!

  • Or Stan is $10/month and streams them in HD.

  • what about special features are they the same for both?

  • Do you know how much the deleted footage amounts to?
Bright: It's about three-to-three-and-a-half minutes per 24 episodes. We did not cut the heart out of this release. It is the best version of the show. If we felt that material was essential, we never would've cut it in the first place. And they're mostly a line or two that were cut, not full scenes, so [a reel of lines] doesn't really work. We just packaged the bonuses differently. We haven't taken away anything that we feel was of essence or value to the series.
