Better Deal on gas than ACTEW Offers in Canberra

I need to source a better loyalty offer than ACTEW offers which is only 10% off gas. Anyone any suggestions or done better recently please?

While you with ActewAGL, you can price match with Origin Energy, no need to switch.

Thanks boom. I don't see origin on there as I provider. Am I short sighted?

(Yes, don't want to switch, just at least want a price match.)

https://www.originenergy.com.au/for-home/campaign/maximiser.… this is 12% off both gas and electricity. Maybe that is the best avaiable.

  Give them a call, they will price match for one year. Then you have to ring again.. and again. So called lazy tax.

  You just can't trust this % discount. You should be checking base rate, connection charges etc.

Good points. Thanks. Geez what a lot of trouble.

I do the comparison every year with car insurance due shortly to get around the lazy/loyalty tax. But that's easy with on line quotes. Got a huge amount off house and contents ins. doing comparisons.
