You'd have to kick that little leg up pretty high to get up my tall tight ass

Good deal/bargain but seriously, who wears these at the snow. I have skied all over the world and I wear some waterproof ish boots but leather type boots that go OK under jeans if the snow is deep. Otherwise I wear sneakers. Most of the hip young kids wear vans to walk from the lodge to the pub at the snow. I was in Chamonix in Feb, Whistler the year before that, Breckenridge and Vail the year before than and Niseko the year before that. In none of those places would I have needed these kind of boots to walk around the village. Up on the mountain I have my ski boots on!

I reckon these kind of boots are either for 'snow play' toboggan type folks or noobs that haven't been to the snow before!

    • For a day trip at the snow (tobogganing) many years ago (more than 10) I purchased some cheap ugg boots from BigW, gave them a bit of waterproof spray over and they did the trick really well. Cheaper than hiring and more comfy than cold, soggy feet. Still have them; great for a bit of mowing or gardening. They just wont die!

I assumed the boots on sale would be suitable for the diehard, working in the country, or hiking types. Yes, they would be ideal for toboganning also. Then again, no matter what protection a kid wears there are some that like soggy.
