Free Qantas Points for Health Survey (150 Points)

1910

A short 60 second survey for Qantas FF members gives you 150 points. Not worth a lot, but will extend your points life so you have more time to earn or spend before they expire. Especially now that Woolworths Rewards are harder to earn and convert.

Declaration of condition as pointed out by Sywater below.

"By submitting this survey, you consent to receiving a telephone call from Qantas Assure regarding health insurance"

EDIT

Some members say they can complete the survey without entering a phone number after Wormetti posted that they didnt need to do this. 😄

"By submitting this survey, you consent to receiving a telephone call from Qantas Assure regarding health insurance" makes me wary.

Good pick up. Guess you will just how to learn to say no to any phone call. 😷. Unless you feel uncomfortable doing that. Have added this condition to the post. Thanks

    • Just give a fake number.

      • will it be given after the phone call or regardless?

      • +5

The mobile number field is optional, just leave it blank.

    • Completed a similar survey last time and can confirmed that they WILL call you.

The things I do for 150 QFF points.

    • Just don't give them your mobile number.

      Use your mother-in-law's number.

    I only got 150 points :P

    • Each Qantas Frequent Flyer member can earn a maximum of 150 Qantas Points for completing this survey.

Sorry - My brain transposed the 60 from the 60 seconds with the 50 in the 150 points.

Have changed post to reflect the accuracy of your statement. Its only 150 points

      Thank you

This offer is limited to the first 100,000 Qantas Frequent Flyer members to complete the survey.

They're going to have to do better than a few cents to get all those personal details, plus waste my time…

  • +10

They called me last time and I just answered "sorry you've got the wrong number" and they never call me again. Repeat as necessary.

Proving I wasn't a robot took longer than completing the survey.

    • Well stop pretending to be a human, you robot.

      Qantas have metal detectors!

Mmmyeah … expending 3 minutes of time and (if it is in fact required) divulging genuine personal information to 'earn' (at the very best) $1.50 'worth' of QF points is not worth it, IMHO. For example, if your hourly rate of pay is $20 or more, you could derive roughly the same amount by putting in 3 extra minutes at work, but without the need to share any personal information.

The point made about extending the life of existing points is entirely valid though. I suppose THAT is the real 'deal' here.

Absolutely. Thats really what its about.

However your argument about pay rates could apply to many other "deals' as well, like the time to get free car stickers, pens, Ice-creams at stations, Placing orders from Aliexpress etc etc

Added to that the time made to write the post you made here (and my reply).😃

BTW this is not to defend my post or criticise yours, its just an amusing observation about us as Ozbargainers and the true cost of our addiction.

I completed without using phone number and it was accepted.

  • Good find, now have over 500K so where to go up the pointy end again.

No need to enter phone number as suggested already.

  • Agree i didn't put phone in either.

  • Thanks op, didn't bother with the phone number.

  • Thanks RockyRaccoon. I like this especially for the extension of the life of existing points for my wife and I.

I didn't answer any of the questions, just put my name and qantas number in and the thing came up saying the points will be applied within 6 weeks

Also found out you can do the survey as many times as you want. I did it 6 times (getting 900 points) before I thought it wasn't worth my time (Google reCAPTCHA got harder every time I did it). I used LastPass' autofill feature to fill in the name and QFF number for me.

A quick Read of the FinePrint:

Each Qantas Frequent Flyer member can earn a maximum of 150 Qantas Points for completing this survey

I wouldnt Waste my time doing it more than once.

Good for extending life of points

  • I just did the survey and left out mobile number blank. The system said it will credit me 150 points regardless.

  • Just to make it clear… 150 QFF = about $1 of woolworths voucher.

    • Or to put a positive spin on it,
For the 1 minute I spent doing this survey, I earned an effective rate of ~$60 per hour? Sweet ;D
