Which Robotic Vacuum?

Hi Everyone, I'm currently looking to buy a decent robot vacuum.

I'm looking at the Neato D75 that is on special on Amazon and comparing to a base model Samsung Powerbot.

Which do you think is better? Stronger suction? More reliable?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes I did search and it is not relevant to my questions.

          It's all good :-)

  • I don't have one, but I did spend a heap of time researching when I figured I NEEDED one.

    The best reviewed one is:

From what I remember the Samsung Powerbot received some mixed reports so of your two listed the Neato may be the better choice.

    • The Neato seems to have better navigation with the laser as well as a smaller size. The NiMH battery seems old tech compared to Li-ion (in the Samsung Powerbot)
Which do you think would have better suction/cleaning ability?

      • From memory Neato was the better option for cleaning. Cant remember the issue with Samsung, think it was something to do with it getting itself stuck too frequently. There are heaps of reviews out there on this stuff. Youtube was a good source.

    irobot
    10+ years still going
had to replace battery that was all.

  • Might sound silly but I really like my Aldi robo-vac. It is powerful, does a good clean, the timer works well, returns to the base station when it needs a charge, etc

They dno't sell them all year, but I grabbed one from ebay for about $80. Bit cheaper than the ones from JB Hifi I'd guess?
