Miscreated (PC Game) $7.50 USD (Approx $10.30 AUD) @Chrono.gg

80

First time poster, and avid gamer.

This game is currently on sale for $10 USD on sale with steam .. so a $2.50 USD saving straight up normaly $19.99.

I've been playing this game non stop over the weekend and all I can say is WOW !!
If your into DayZ type games then this game will suit u down to the ground. It is graphic
intense but it looks amazing, with the best weather effects i've EVER seen in a game courtesy of the
using the CryEngine. Currently has around 7-8 servers in Australia, with low pings.
It is currently Early Access, but runs relatively bug free, and well populated and highly recommended !!

Played it on the weekend (was 50% off on Steam). It's a good alternative to DayZ. Seems less buggy too. Graphically it's quite decent and not bad for an alpha. Took ages to finally find a weapon but then I ran out of ammo real quick and bled to death after being attacked by a mutant. Otherwise finding supplies seems relatively easy.

There's no map, other than one you find in-game, which is kind of cool as you have to figure out where you are. A few times I spawned and was greeted by a mutant straight away before being able to do anything, so I bled to death again.

Only ran into a single person in about 4 hours of playing and he was friendly, but I suspect servers with many people will mean you'll get shot on sight.

    The game definitely has potential.

    • Looting may need a fix due to the recent addition of the relevance system to the game, as well as a few other big changes in the backend. Apparently you can craft a map now, but unsure if that's more than rumours. I wasn't so lucky recently, as I was killed on site regardless of which server I was on and my evident lack of loot. The game was a lot more friendly before all the recent price drops in my opinion. The DayZ (or maybe it's COD?) crowd has definitely infiltrated, given the profanities spewed forth as you're shot in the back ;) haha

  • not worth $10.

If you're looking for a game similar to minecraft but with a much more immersive experience - try 7 days to die. A few friends now live on that game.

    • yup.. waiting for alpha 15 to be released.. hopefully soon. lots of new content :)

    • I have just over 1300 hours on 7 Days to Die. Love this game and it's so good for a game that has been in Alpha (PC).
The Aussies and New Zealanders who populate the servers based in our region are for the most part, a really good bunch of people.
Have seen absolutely bugger all problems with hacking in the hours I have spent on it.
Lots of PVP or PVE servers to suit your needs.
Excellent base building, looting, zombies, with hordes coming for you on days 7, 14 and 49… So glad I met my wife and had 6 kids already, as I'd never have met a woman if this game was out back in my younger days. :-p

As for Miscreated, it's well worth the promo price. Developers seem to be listening to players and the game runs reasonably smoothly, looks good and I haven't come across any idiots so far.
It's not perfect, and needs a little work here and there, but I still recommend getting it while it's at this price point.
You'd surely get your monies worth at this price.

  • Thanks just got it
