  • includes school holidays which is good.

  • Nice work Tiger. Keep giving us these fares and I'll continue using you.

  • Are these prices only for Mastercard debit ? How much more if you use a Visa debit or credit, or a Mastercard credit?

    • It's $6 extra per person per flight.

  • jetstar are beating airlines fairs by 10% at the moment arent they?

would be the way I would be going. At least you have a chance of getting there almost on time.

    • Has to be a matching flight within 1 hr of the jetstars

    • When you said that I decided to check both airline's on time statistics. Funny how their definitions vary but are both "industry standard"

      Direct quote:

      Tiger:
"In accordance with industry standards, an 'on-time' departure is one that departs from the designated bay no more than 15 minutes from the scheduled departure time."

      Jetstar:
"In accordance with industry standards, an 'on-time' arrival is one that arrives at the designated gate no more than 15 minutes after the scheduled arrival time."

      • +1

Well they should one is quoting arrival time, the other departure time.

Personally Arrival time is probably more realistic as it matches your expectations and timing more. (although that said many an airline can build fat into its schedule - ala Sydney rail, so its arrival times look ok.

  • Love Tiger!

  • Adioso has indexed these flights right out to September 1.

You can find them with searches like:
    - "Sydney to anywhere tiger airways late August"
    - "Melbourne to adelaide June 20 tiger airways"
    - "Brisbane to rockhampton early July"

  • Love tiger!!! flew with them 4 times last wk and not 1 problem!!!! Gotta love them!!!

    • I've taken 4 flights with them. One of them was about 15-20 minutes late. Can't complain either!
