Puzzle 1:
Looking at the comments, it seems it could do with the red commas in the article, word in quotes, or something to do with Morse code, given they said 'Vikings and other Morse civilizations' instead of Norse. No idea.

iAgree. This one was easy enough to solve for me ONLY because of the comments on the page. Else I don't think I could have done it without spending hours trying to decipher the clue
I've got donuts after 45 minutes.
Thought the commas were dots and the dashes were … well… dashes but converting it from morse code seems to give me six characters which make no sense.
I know from the comments it's not the full stops so I could be close and just getting the wrong punctuation marks or miles off.
I'm sure I used to be smarter than this. I feel every single one of my 43 years! Back to work!
