MOD: Guard Shaving's free sample page was originally showing a bottle image, although "20ml bottle" wasn't actually stated anywhere. Guard Shaving has since changed the image to 1.5ml sachet, which is the sample size which they intended to give away. The company has shared it's appreciation at the unexpected advertising and that they are working vigorously to send out all sample sachets (with additional sachets as an apology from the misunderstanding).

As the original deal was for a bottle, it will remain expired. However those who wish to claim a sachet can do so via the deal link.

    does this stuff actually work or is it just snake oil in a bottle?

    I bought a seemingly 'fancy' electric shaver with an auto cleaning kit/dock and the sales guy still tried to sell me this stuff (i declined).

    ordered a sample so I will give it a shot, though i probably need to buy new foils/cutters anyway.

      I really liked the old King of Shaves shaving oil. I have super sensitive skin and much preferred the oil over the foam.

      If this is as good, I'm sure you'll like it.

        I agree. I have tried foam, gel, cream, everything. I get very bad razor burn. Oil is the only thing that works for me. I prefer Somerset, but Kings of Shaves is fine too.

          Lol till 5 weeks ago I dry shaved with no irritation at all :) just started de razor though Nd scared ill cut my face off without lube.

    Interesting I only tried foam and gel but even gel is not good enough for me I break out abd my neck looks like a warzone after a shave. I gave up on close shaves since 2 years. Will try oil see if it's any better

        Hi there,

        If you have only just ordered the samples they will not have arrived yet for a couple of reasons. Our staff have been out of the office since last week busily working, and we have been crazily overwhelmed with sample requests! We are working on getting them sorted, but it is going to take me a little longer than usual to send out the thousand extra orders as we usually hand-address and stamp every single one! What's more, usually this is the job of only one member of our team - insane!

        So we apologise profusely if you feel you have already been waiting too long, we have certainly not forgotten about you and are working to get your samples sent out!
