Price Protection Successful Claim

I just wanted to share this in case it helped anyone else.

I have a credit card with NAB and their price protection insurance limits to you finding a better price in a printed catalogue or advertisement.

But as they defined Printed Advertisement in the policy as "published marketing catalogue and/or brochure", I argued that a company's website was their published catalogue.

It might have been helped by the company actually putting catalogue on their website as the way they described it but this might help someone else I hope.

  • Thanks for the anecdote. I wonder if it would still work of it was just on their website (I.e no online catalogue).

  • It would be worth a try. This really was no catalogue, that was just what they called the section of the website with all the stuff they sold.
