I'm wanting to add more USB3.0 to the front of my pc, I already have a card reader with one USB3.0 port.
I have this internal pci-e card with the card reader attached to the USB3.0 header

If I got this 3.0 hub

Would it work plugged into the type A connection on the above card.
The hub does comes with 19pin header cable, however it appears to use a type A connection and uses the Renasys GL3520 4 port hub controller.
So if I replaced the header cable with a type A cable would this hub work properly?
It would be similar to this 4 port hub which is supplied with pci-e card that only has type A connection.

I know I won't get USB-C speeds etc from the above hub but it will be handy to have the ports if needed in future.
