Serious issues with Nutri Ninja Blender

We bought "Ninja BL480NZ Nutri Ninja Blender with Auto-IQ NEW" 6months before and have been using it twice a day on regular basis.
Since last few days we noticed few issues :

(1) It started making much more loud crakling noise.

(2) a Pro Extractor Blade has became loose (it moves up and down). I suspect this is why we are having above issue(1)

(3) I place the the blade assembly onto the cup and twist it on (and cup gets into lock state) But if I put it in "Blend" mode after few seconds the cup automatically turns in anticlockwise in unlock state. This unlocking issue only happens in "Blend" Mode.

  • Anyone else having same issue with their unit?
  • Appreciate your inputs here as in what should we do in this case?
  • Will the The Good Guys or Nutri Ninja replace this whole unit for us under the default One Year Limited Replacement Warranty?

My NutriBullet has similar issues only a few months in. If it's under warranty, get it fixed! You might have to do it through the manufacturer though. Worst case scenario, exercise your consumer law rights to The Good Guys. I doubt it will come to that though.

  • I think cold press juicer is better.

      For quality of juice, yes.
      For convenience, no.

had a similar problem with our BL480.
took it back to TGG as the manufacturer
support line does not even exist!
They were very nice about it and replaced it
on the spot after going through a few simple questions.

    • Thx, will try that.
      Wondering what caused this tho?

We run it 6 times (one min each run) per day. 3times morning and 3 times in evening.
Wonder if this is over use esp it happened within 6months of usage.

  • I got same blender having same issues with noise but i got mine from dicksmith so not sure were to take it to?

    • Ahh, does that blade move up n down?
How frequent u use it and for how manys mins/day?

      • Nah no movement with the blade
I use mine roughly 2-3 times aday only making protein shakes though
