        zenroom business system is using other's smaller properties to be advertised under one name online. i don't think zenroom has their own properties. just like uber but with rooms instead of cars.

        I don't think many people here on ozbargain understand actually how this company works.

        Essentially, ZenRooms is an accommodation booking website much like Agoda, booking.com and expedia.

        The difference between ZenRooms and the others is, it's target businesses are smaller hotels, villas, homestays, etc.

        Usually these businesses are also available on websites like Agoda and expedia as well as ZenRooms.

        Because Agoda has an agreement with many hotels to offer the lowest price, they are generally not allowed to offer it for any less.

        The way ZenRooms achieves this is by listing the accommodation without the actual name. That way they can undercut every other website. They also audit every business to ensure all accommodation meets, and stays at, a certain standard.

    Can j just clarify - it's the first 150 bookings to be made using the code once the sale starts? - doesn't seem like many?

    If a hotel is currently on sale (save 36% for example) - will the code make this half of the current price? (Or half of the full price?)

        Early access to the sale starts at 4PM (Indonesian time) - surely it's highly likely the discount will have been used 150 times before it even opens to the 'general public'?

        I'm having troubles finding rooms available very far out - is that a part of how your business model works?

        For example I'm looking for rooms in Boracay in October and December and all rooms are "sold out" on my dates. I suspect it's more a case of the hotels haven't yet released any rooms to ZEN on those dates? (I can see one of the hotels still has rooms available under their own name but not on ZEN rooms).

        Sorry for the newbie questions but I have never thought twice about your offers until now and am just getting my head around how you operate (compared to Expedia/Agoda etc). If a hotel that you partner with has 40 rooms - will some (let's say 5) of those rooms become "ZEN rooms" (meaning ZEN bookings will only use those specific 5 rooms in the hotel) or is it just a matter that the hotel will make rooms available through your platform as they would Expedia etc etc?

    Its on now, code ANNI50 seems generic, however you better know what you doing/booking since immediately after booking it shows link to see the location of the property which in my case was about 200 kilometers off ! Very unprofessional first impression after forking out money and did make me think twice about booking with them. Also other websites often (not always but very often) have slightly lower (I would guess 20-30%) prices so the 50% saving is not quite 50% but still a great deal since other website's ads "up to 50%" applies to maybe selected 0.01% of properties and the rest have normal prices all year around - yes I know what I am talking about I book cca 100 nights a year. Still a good deal on "50% of ALL rooms" on zenrooms.com though :)

    I gave my credit card number and got a receipt, but the web page says pay at the hotel. This is confusing. Have you charged my credit card or not? Is the hotel REALLY going to charge me $70 AUD when I am in Singapore? Are they going to use their conveniently inflated exchange rate. Not happy to be told I pay in AUD and have no idea what sort of mark up they are going to do on the currency conversion.
