Since the financial year end there were so many deals for either xbox or play station. How many are buying and how many are still waiting for a better model. And thoughts on limited edition One S 2TB.?

But Why?
Microsoft arguably had the better console initially because of the better OS, Kinect, Xbox Live, and exclusives…when compared to the PS4.But all of those exclusives are on PC now, the PC OS is much better than Xbox OS, and the online experience is free/better on PC.
So a therefore, a Gaming PC will be better than a Xbox One/S/Scorpio.
Not only that, Gaming PC's have more indie titles and more exclusives anyway… not to mention backwards compatibility.
And they even have emulators to play all the console games upto Xbox 360/PS3/Wii U titles.If you said the PS4K, then it could be understandable.
The PlayStation has some awesome exclusives, and they have the PSVR, and VR exclusives.If you said a Nintendo NX/Wii U, that would still be understandable in terms of Nintendo's first-party titles.
I can't be ducked keeping up with desktops anymore. Got a 24/7 nuc running Linux for all my"services" and my laptop.
Doesn't even have to be a HUGE desktop.
Have you seen the Alienware Alpha? Or the Zotac EN980? Or Razer Core?
Or a "Console Killer" build using something like the Dan Case (A4-SFX) or the Silverstone Raven (RVZ02) ??The Xbox 360 was a great console when released, compared to the Gaming PC market of its time.
The PS4 was/is a pretty basic and weak console on release, compared to the Gaming PC market.
(Yes, current gen consoles were released with normal pricing, but released both too late and too underpowered)

I am trying hard to sell my Elite console which I bought a month back. I know should have waited for this but the financial year end deal was so good. If I could sell I will take the slim one…
You should've bought two.
Then sold both units, but keeping the Elite controllers.
Then buy the 2TB Xbox One S when it comes out, and sell its controller.You could keep the controllers still, and later sell the 2TB Xbox One S, and buy the 2TB Xbox Scorpio.
No option for those of us who just bought the $28 Wii's?

PlayStation gamer here. I'm undecided whether to pick up,the Neo when it releases or just to put the money towards upgrading my PC with a GTX 1080.
I'm pretty keen on VR, so that's a big factor to me. So far it seems like Occulus Rift will offer a higher end VR experience but with a huge cost and limited games, whilst PS4 VR is more realistically priced and has a heap of exciting sounding games coming, a lot of them exclusive.
I'd vote the GTX 1080.
You can always get the PS4K later, but I doubt you would want to.
A regular PS4 + Gaming PC would be better than just the PS4K.I would look out for cheap Oculus Rift headsets coming out in the following months.
VR headsets are cheap to build, and a newer and better competitor will likely pop out of nowhere, not to mention version 2 from Valve and Facebook.
And also the used VR headsets from eBay and gumtree.

Who are all these people with Xboxs and why? A console with no redeeming features. I'm waiting for the new Nintendo console obviously. Then there PlayStation. Never the xbox

Xbox has far better media playback support, better controller, cheaper controller, console is cheaper, Cross platform games have better availability during sales, Games With Gold is far better than PS+. Backwards compatibility with last gen for free vs PS backwards compatibility with the second last gen except you have to buy the games again. PlayStation might be a slightly more powerful console but Microsoft is much friendlier than Sony. Bill Gates cured aids.
The xbox controller is literally the worst part of the console. I have an x360 controller to play pc games and it ruined many a gaming session with its non-dpad.
I'm not going to buy any console where the designers thought that was a good idea. I bought a ps4 controller to play on pc and it's waaay better.
The only game i would want to play is ori and the blind forest which is also on pc. I haven't played battle star Galactica, but there's nothing on last gen xbox that interestes me either. Have a pc for media playback. Wouldn't sign up for games with gold. Nx will be less powerful, but better in sure :/
