Who the heck spends $300+ on an toothbrush? That's spending money for more important things like GTX 1070 or ps4.5 or xboneS. Or the flights almost one way to Hawaii. Whoa. Good luck to ya if they are nice though. Great find killabob at 1/2 price!!

After half price, it is still $100 too expensive.

My $63 4000 arrived from Amazon (prime day sale) last week, works great, much prefer it to my Panasonic. I think the 7000 uses the same motors so it should be sweet.

    • Any issue with charging if it is 110V?

None at all, it came from the UK and they have the same power as us but my bro in law bought 2 from the USA and they too work fine.

Good to know. Thank you for your reply. Amazon US currently has a $20 voucher on the model posted.

I have always used Oral B electric toothbrushes but I think that is time for a new one. Yesterday the off button decided not to work and I just had to walk away and let the battery drain. It was buzzing for a few hours though.

Nearly got this last weekend but they didn't have a twin pack with 2 handles so we cant have his n hers. Was eyeing off the professional care 3000 twin pack at $200 as it does what we need but ended up getting the Triumph 5000 twin pack at $230 as it felt better in her hand ahem. I think we got 50% off 6 replacement heads as well. Not bad.

Oh and the smartguide thing? I swear we laughed as we were unpacking it for how gimmicky it was, but I never knew how much I needed a clock in the bathroom to tell me how late I am. Oh and it tells you how long you've been brushing with a gradually smiling face…

Went in looking for a two handle sonicare but as far as I can see, these aren't well stocked in Australia. The models they had in there have been replaced by Philips and there's hardly any selection elsewhere. SO Oral B it is, despite me hating their non-lithium batteries.

Triumph 5000 has NiMh batteries, which is the same as rest of the Professional Care range. The person in shaver shop said the Triumph 7000 has a "better battery" which lasts longer but I don't know what kind of battery it is except that it is not lithium. Thumbs up to the person in store as she answered most questions very well.

  • Can get the 5000 twin pack on ebay for around this price .. Much better value i reckon.

3000 up are all pretty much same just different bells and whistles.

There is a really great website which reviews all these i recommend people read… On my phone but will add link later

  • Wtf is the BT for??

  • philips diamondclean the best, i can attest to this. i had oral b intially but i can tell you philips is number 1

  • You actually realise its a F#@KING toothbrush? Seriously RRP $330

  • Thanks OP. I ordered one and received it today.

It came with only 3 brush heads but Oral-B website has advertised 5 brush heads. Have I received an older model?

    • Unsure, sorry. I'd be calling them up and asking.

      • I'll be calling them tomorrow.

  • Was looking at replacing my current Oral B electric toothbrush however I see you need to buy a dual voltage charger if you want to travel with it!! will have to keep my old one or look at the Phillip's

  • I just bought the Oral B Electric Toothbrush PC1000, for $88.00 as part of the same deal. It's the cheapest price currently for any of the Oral B range. Good price.

    • Should I get the PC1000 or the PC3000 for $99 from Chemist Warehouse?
