So for some reason my usual go to place for all things cycling and German, Bike24, no longer wish to sell Australians Ortlieb products (change the country to Australia and the stock level changes to unable to ship to your country). Neither does Wiggle (you can see a few things on the UK site, but they mysteriously vanish and can't be searched for if you set the site to ship to Australia).
A bit of googling revealled this Italian site who are running a promotion for the next 2 weeks, €25 off any orders of €100 or more. You'll need to make a new account every time you use the promo code though. Brings the Ortlieb Back Roller Plus to €97.15 (€109.25 - €25 + €3 (PayPal fees, boo) + €9.95 shipping) or ~$144 AUD at today's rates. If you prefer the Back Roller Classics those are €98.61 so you'll need to find something that's €1.39 or more to use the discount code. There's also the Back Roller Design for €102.68 and Back Roller City for €70.90 (need another €29.10 of stuff to get over the minimum purchase limit for the coupon, proably not worth it)

      Ortlieb back rollers (with the exception of the Back Roller Urban which is sold as a single bag at a ridiculous price) are always sold as a pair. Ortlieb never sell the Back Roller Classic/Plus/Design/City as single bags. If you click on the links you'll realise that as they're for 40L (2x20L bags, no they're not the oversized Pro versions which are 70L or 2x35L, those are also available on the website).
      These are $40 cheaper for the Ortlieb Back Roller Design (~$135 after discount vs $174 on your link) and the Back Roller Plus is $50 cheaper (usually go for $190-200 on 'sale') so I think that represents a saving in the order of ~25% off best Australian RRP? Is a discount in that range not a bargin in your books? :P

    Ugh, I felt like I should mention that these guys still haven't shipped either of my orders yet. Starting to get a little bit annoyed. Given their facebook page seems to be pretty long standing and that they have been mentioned on several biking forums as legit I haven't cancelled my order yet, but I will need to reconsider if they still haven't shipped by the end of the week D:.

      Oh wow so this is why they're in a recession. Apparently the country shuts down for August. Tragic as the recent earthquake was, the store is located pretty far away from the epicenter. I hope no body was expecting their Ortliebs any time soon :(.

        Ok nevermind, the backrollers shipped today for me, expected delivery 2/9/16 via Fedex. Hopefully everybody else's will also be arriving soon as well. My other order still hasn't shipped yet but there was some other random stuff in there as well to push the order price to €100 (strange how I just wanted a Ortlieb pannier rack which was €47 but ended up getting €55 worth of stuff to use a €25 discount voucher, Ozbargain logic?)

          Thanks for the update, I'm still waiting on mine (marked as "Processed" on their website but I have nfi what that means and their FAQ is in Italian :P)

          @Dunnymeister: My shipped order says "Shipped" and instead of a tick there's a blue van. They sent off a few emails when it finally did so, two from the website itself and another from Fedex. First order still hasn't shipped yet :S.
          Also, after they ship the order, might be worthwhile cancelling the pre-approved payment/purchase agreement you have with Cicli Mattio. Just found out that they theoretically have the ability to keep charging my PayPal account :S.

          They replied to my enquiry last week: "our supplier the past few weeks was closed. Should deliver it during the week and we will send it to him as soon as possible."

          Heard nothing from them after that, still hasn't shipped. Getting impatient now, the product page said 10 - 15 days and it has just hit 25. Hope it ships soon…

          @Dunnymeister: That sucks. They still haven't shipped my first order (placed 29/7/16 - 39 days and counting!), but my backrollers arrived the other day (placed 30/7/16, shipped 25/8/16 arrived 31/8/16) . Haven't physically seen them myself as I shipped it to my relatives on the other side of the state so they wouldn't get suspicious about the whole two accounts thing. Hope our orders arrive soon :X.

          @Dunnymeister: Yeah likewise. Best news yet today! Estimated arrival 19 Sept. Don't forget to cancel your purchase agreement with them after you're done too.
          On the PayPal website, click on the transaction, then click on "Manage CICLI MATTIO SILVIO & C. SNC payments" link, then click cancel next to "Status: Active"
